Ayurveda Yoga Massage


The Ayurveda Yoga Massage method was developed by the Indian mentor Kusum Modak, through the combination of deep traditional Indian massage manoeuvres and strokes with stretching and therapeutic postures based in Iyengar Yoga.

The strokes, kneading and pressure with the hands and feet stimulate blood circulation and warm the musculature and articulations, preparing the body for bends, twists and stretches based on yoga poses.

The individual massage session lasts around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Vegetable and essential oils are used, and Vekhand (Acorus calamus) in powder form is used, in order to exfoliate, stimulating the skin and the blood circulation and intensify the process of getting rid of toxins.

This technique brings, progressively, more flexibility, mobility and vitality to the body, balancing it on physical, emotional and energetic levels.

Regular sessions are beneficial for:

- Improving breathing and blood circulation

- Increasing muscular flexibility and articulation mobility

- Contributing to improving the mood and vitality

- Promoting contact with oneself through having more awareness of the body and breathing.
